TRAINING AND TESTING DAYS

We are very excited to announce that we are having our Kickoff regular training day on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 8:00 am at Darko's acreage. We will start with a short meeting to discuss the upcoming training season and particulars followed by a training session.

MARK YOUR CALENDARS: DOG TRAINING SESSIONS ARE EVERY TWO WEEKS STARTING MAY 2, 2026 UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2026 (Hunting Season) - notices will only be sent if there is not a training session or if there are any other changes

Some key points for safety and to make the most of the training day are as follows:

Bring water for you and your pup
As well, you may want to bring some snacks for yourself as well as your pup
All participants will have hunter safety orange vest and cap
Safety glasses are mandatory
Ear protection is highly recommended
For gunners, only size #8 and #9 lead shot are to be used in the field
If you are planning to use pigeons during the training session, there will be a fee for the pigeons that are shot, but there are no fees for the homing pigeons as they are not being shot. This fee is necessary to replenish our bird supply. You will need to notify us of the number of birds you will need using the WhatsApp Group and payment will need to be made using the E-transfer email address below prior to the training day.
